Fannie and Freddie: What Now?

Good question! Unfortunately, this article doesn't have any answers.
So I will offer one of my own. It is not really a solution to the problem. But it is something that may actually be more useful, since in today's world, no one with any sense is actually allowed to solve any problem. The Federal Government will continue with the Ponzi scheme these entities currently are until they cannot any longer. At that point, they will dump all of the properties and lousy paper they have acquired back onto the market and create the final real estate bottom.
(Hey, it may not happen, but it is probably as good as anyone else's guess.)

USD Ready for a Breather

While I am a raging bull on the USD in the long term, it is looking a little extended here and I anticipate a rest period ahead for the buck.

NDX bullish reversal

The NDX has produced a bullish reversal today, Tuesday June 08. The headline numbers showed a divergence with the DJIA up strongly with the Naz down slightly. Misdirection? We will know by the end of the week, if not sooner. But I am betting on a higher Nasdaq in the short run.

Gold Bell Ringing?

Those who are buying GLD here are playing a dangerous game, at least in the short term. There are negative divergences all over this daily charts. GLD bulls beware!

Gold Clock is Ticking

The "barbarous relic" is looking a little shaky. In the long run, as in reference to a MONTHLY chart. We will know by the end of June. But my guess is that a top is in.
